Blackberry Torch 9800 is the first from RIM to feature their new OS – the Blackberry 6. This new platform lays more focus on touch capabilities. Thus the Torch has a touch sensitive screen – a 3.2" HVGA+ one with a resolution of 480 x 360 pixels. This smartphone also gives you the comfort of using a physical keyboard. Bluetooth v2.1 with EDR is supported for linking wirelessly with other devices.
MicroSD cards of a maximum capacity of 32GB are compliant too. There's 512MB of internal memory as well.
GPS along with Blackberry Maps are supported for position based navigation.
A 5MP camera comes integrated in this mobile phone. It offers autofocus, a flash, VGA video recording and geo-tagging.
RIM has paid additional attention to entertainment on the Torch. There's a media player which is compatible with a number of audio and video formats. A 3.5mm headphone jack is packed in as well. You can also use Bluetooth headsets to listen to music.
