Every place of earth has got its own meaning, identity and history. It is always nice and interesting to know where we are traveling. Unfortunately, while you travel on an airplane, it is really very hard to sense the place you are. And now you no more have to worry on this aspect, you can always get to know where exactly you travel and even explore information. But how? Simple with Google Maps!

Google as a part of their continued partnership with Virgin America has updated map data on the touchscreen of  every airplane seat.  Earlier the map simply displayed where you are exactly so that you can zoom in and out to explore. But now Google made it even more advanced. You can experience view of beautiful terrain with fresh Google data, also more prettier highlighting elevations, mountains and other natural aspects. Most likely, you will be able to match what you see when glancing out of the window from over 35,000 feet with clouds passing by.

Virgin America is also about to show more places on the map and update about 60 aircraft with triple fleet size. Google map also works great on the in flight Wi Fi Internet, hence if you wish to explore satellite image or street view, you have it all before you with just a click.
